Hi everybody out there in Circles land, First off let us start by apologising for the slack updates on this page. We have been super busy getting the next stage of Circles ready for you guys and gals.

OFFICIAL VIDEO
Dave has been hard at work in the editing suite putting together the first Official Circles video. It’s really starting to take shape and we’re all pretty happy with it. The song chosen is yet to be revealed but we can tell you it’s from “The Compass” and will have some tasty treats to go with it.

ALBUM NEWS
The writing process for the album has been going quite well. The tracks we have so far are sounding huge!! As Prelude was a massive jump from The Compass, you can expect the same progression in the writing style. Next week we’ll be going into our “lock down” writing space to finalise the first half of the album. You can expect a few video blogs coming your way in the near future which will no doubt include some samples for you to sink your ears into….

BASICK RECORDS is extremely excited to announce the signing of Australia’s finest, CIRCLES! Mixing up cutting edge production techniques with some altogether killer guitar work, CIRCLES instantly stand out from the Metal-by-numbers crowd with their, quite frankly, sublime song-craft and incredible vocal delivery. Set for release via BASICK in Spring 2011, the band’s debut 6-track Mini Album ‘The Compass’, combines musical influences from technically minded bands such as Periphery and Textures, whilst simultaneously drawing lyrical and vocal comparisons to the early works of Incubus and Faith No More. David Hunter, drummer with the band comments: “We are stoked to be working with Basick Records and to be receiving such a positive international response. Our debut Mini Album ‘The Compass’ has been along time in the making and we are really excited to get it out there and to hear the reactions.
